When the soul is detached from the body, we would never feel pain and there's no difference between life and death. From here we would know spirituality is divided into "higher realms" and "lower realms", The soul came to the earth in order to transform its spirituality until it reaches the highest realm; the highest realm is the God realm which belongs to Buddha, immortal, deities and God.
We were sent to earth to transform our spirituality. The body is made up of nerves, arteries and sensory organs which make it possible for us to feel and experience happiness, pain, friendship, family love, romantic love and various emotions. This way the spiritual body would be able to create connection between each other. The soul has to access the world through a body because it doesn't possess the ability to feel. This is the reason why soul was sent to the earth!
Why do we need to transform our souls?
Why do we have more pain than happiness in life? Life has more pain than happiness as it serves as a constant reminder for the soul to transform itself; when one has fallen into deprivation, it ruins one's good deeds and would degrade one's spirituality to the lower realm. Religiously, one would only be qualified to be a creature when their spirituality falls immensely.
This is the law of nature! So what is the way? Nature is the way, if you've acted like a beast in this life, naturally in your next life you would be doomed in the animal realm; if you've acted even worse than a beast in this life, you would be doomed in the hungry ghost realm. In hungry ghost realm, one doesn't even have the right to eat. Hell realm imprisons your soul and your pleasures in life. Don't believe it? Let me tell you where's the hungry ghost path and hell.
Hungry ghost realm is situated in Ethiopia and many other underdeveloped countries, these places are not only unequipped with water supply, electricity and food, but are also unable to meet the most basic hygiene requirements. People would just sit beside their faces because they don't even have the strength to walk. These people have bloated tummy, their body are scarred and covered with blisters, they have nothing to eat and drink as water that they consume is filled with various viruses, because the world is in famine. The situation still persists even various organizations are going to help without your heart of contribution. Why would this happen? they are demoted to this place because of their past doings in their past life. There's no existence of spirituality in them!
When you're sentenced to hell because of all your evil doings, you're bound to suffer. For instance, if you were given a chance to be reborn into a fish, you would experience pain by the bait that pierces through your mouth, then the scaling of your skin and at last burning you up in a pot of boiling hot oil; if you were a chicken, you would be tortured as blood would be pouring out from your slitted throat, next you fur would be forcefully removed and finally you would be boiled; if you were a Thailand prawn, you would be caught by bamboo piercing through your body and in the end you would be burnt to death.

This is because a lion's spirituality is not as high as human, it doesn't have the capacity to think, if it could think, it wouldn't possibly be controlled by one who is weaker and smaller.
Food is like money to the animals, territory is like power and status to the animals. When one has lost the ability to control yourself according to your spirit, you would be like the lion as would be overpowered by your greed and desire.
For now you would probably think that men are the one, who dominate the lion, but this is not the fact, the reason behind the domination is the lion's greed and desire. You would probably wonder why the lion is so foolish, but this is because its spiritual level is low.
Lion can only live a true life in the wild, a life full with freedom and vitality. Do you know the main difference between a lion which lives in the wild and a circus lion?
In their eyes, a circus lion loses its lion instincts and its vitality; hence their eyes are weary and sorrow. Maybe you have never done wrong in your life and you have lived up to be a just person, but the lack of spirituality unable to give up fame, wealth and status have caused you to be reborn into the life of a tiger. Fortunately with your justly trait, you were able to be reborn into a tiger instead of poultry animals.
